Job Overview Buoy Bowls is hiring high-energy, outgoing Shift Leaders to oversee daily operations of our açaí and smoothie food trucks. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced quick-service environment. The Shift Leader is responsible for driving the truck to its service location, leading the team during shifts, maintaining food quality standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. If you have food service leadership experience and thrive in high-volume environments, we want to meet you. Key Responsibilities Drive food truck from commissary to daily service location Lead and supervise team members during shifts Ensure all açaí bowls and smoothies meet brand quality standards Operate and manage Square POS system accurately Maintain food safety and sanitation compliance Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs Maintain truck cleanliness and organization Deliver outstanding customer service and drive upselling opportunities Qualifications 1+ year experience in quick service, café, restaurant, or food truck environment Prior shift lead or supervisory experience (required) Experience using POS systems (Square preferred) Strong communication and leadership skills (required) Very outgoing personality, not shy or timid Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Reliable transportation and clean driving record Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs What We Offer Competitive hourly pay + tips Leadership development opportunities Fast-paced, team-oriented culture Growth path into management roles Flexible scheduling At Buoy Bowls, we promote from within and develop future leaders.
