division is currently seeking a Material Team Lead (Avery Creek) - 2nd Shift to join our team. The hourly rate for this position is $25 per hour. The core hours are 4:00pm-2:30am. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: The Material Team Lead will assist in leading supply chain activities (shipping, receiving, warehouse and kitting). In addition, they will ensure material availability and achieve inventory targets through complete materials management (Kanban, Consignment, etc.) for Avery Creek and El Paso, TX sites.In this function you will:
- Provide motivation and encouragement to the Avery Creek Supply chain team, ensuring that they are continually made aware of all workplace goals surrounding production, safety and quality
- Help champion continuous improvement and other CIF efforts
- Lead Tier 1 meetings, implement and maintain visual controls and participate in Gemba walks
- Demand Planning Responsibilities for Avery Creek site
- Support El Paso Material Procurement personnel.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with both Eaton and non-Eaton vendors.
- Work with Supply Chain Team for broader SC projects/tasks as necessary.
- Observe all safety regulations as specified or directed.
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe workplace.
- Milk Runs between AVC and Heywood sites
Qualifications:
Required (Basic)Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2 years of Supply Chain experience
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

- Associate's Degree in electronics from an accredited school required
- Previous experience with AS400, MAPICS, Vista, and Enovia
- Fork Truck Certified
- Previous Supply Chain and/or
Planning Experience Position Criteria:
- Understanding of Kanban and other internal stock control methods
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position - able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Must have proficient computer skills.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop employees.
- Must be able to have strong organizational skills, results oriented, and deal with suppliers, customers, supervisors, etc.
