CIP Lead (Night Shift)

Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a CIP Lead (Night Shift) to join a growing organization within the biotechnology manufacturing industry for a year long contract opportunity in Holly Springs, NC . The CIP Lead (Night Shift) will provide hands-on leadership during facility startup efforts, helping transition manufacturing systems into commercial operations while supporting reliable and compliant cleaning processes. Responsibilities of the CIP Lead (Night Shift) include: Lead startup, shakedown, and readiness activities for CIP and manufacturing systems as they move into routine operations. Provide leadership and direction to a shift team, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of daily activities. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues during startup and early manufacturing campaigns. Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve issues and improve operational performance. Support shift handovers, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence. Qualifications for the CIP Lead (Night Shift) include: 5+ years of experience supporting startup, shakedown, commissioning, or manufacturing operations. Previous leadership, supervisory, or shift lead experience in an industrial environment. Experience troubleshooting process equipment and supporting operational readiness activities. Exposure to GMP-regulated industries such as biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical, food, or beverage manufacturing. Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
