Leader:

As a Shift Leader at LANEY & LU, you'll inspire and guide your team to deliver an extraordinary guest experience that we're widely known for, while helping create a smooth and efficient shift. You'll play a key role in leading by example, ensuring that operations run seamlessly, and fostering an environment where the team can thrive. This is a position you will grow into with check ins on progress at the 30 and 60 day mark so you are given the ability to learn each station, your new position, and are set up for success.

• Lead by Example
• Show the team how to deliver exceptional service, maintain energy, and always put the guest first. You'll be a role model for positivity and professionalism.
• Guide Daily Operations
• Oversee the flow of service and ensure that all stations are running smoothly. You'll keep the team organized and set them up for success.
• Support & Coach the Team
• Be the go-to person for team members during your shift. You'll provide guidance, solve problems, and give feedback to help them improve.
• Maintain High Standards
• Ensure that cleanliness, food safety, and organizational standards are consistently met. You'll keep an eye on every detail, making sure the restaurant looks and feels amazing.
• Handle Guest Concerns
• Take the lead on addressing any guest issues or special requests with care and professionalism, ensuring that everyone leaves with a smile.
• Assist with Inventory & Stock
• Keep service stations and supplies fully stocked, and assist with inventory management to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure Shift Transitions Are Seamless
• Make sure that shifts start and end smoothly, with proper communication between outgoing and incoming teams to maintain consistency.

• Assist in food and beverage preparation for customer orders, keeping everything fresh, clean, and organized.

• Keep the dining and work areas sparkling clean and follow checklists to ensure everything runs smoothly.

This is a long term position, are you able to commit to a minimum of one (1) year in this role? This is a full-time position only. What is your current availability and how many hours are you seeking? This job requires that you are able to work on Sundays and have flexibility to open and close the cafe (opening shifts start as early as 6:15am and closing shifts go as late as 7pm). Do you have these specific days/hours available regularly?
