Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Lead to oversee daily culinary operations and ensure exceptional food quality and safety standards. As a vital member of our hospitality team, you will lead kitchen staff, manage food production, and uphold the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation. Duties Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service delivery Lead and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellence and collaboration Oversee food safety sanitizing procedures, ensuring compliance with all health regulations and standards Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs Coordinate menu planning in collaboration with culinary staff to deliver innovative and high-quality dishes Monitor food handling practices, ensuring proper storage, temperature control, and hygiene protocols are maintained Oversee catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely execution and exceptional presentation Implement cost control measures while maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction Conduct regular training sessions on cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation procedures Manage shift schedules, assign tasks effectively, and ensure smooth communication across all kitchen stations Qualifications Proven experience in food production within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting, including banquet or catering experience SafeServ certification required Supervisory experience managing culinary teams in a fine dining or large-scale food service environment Strong background in dietary department operations and food safety sanitizing procedures Extensive knowledge of kitchen management, inventory control, menu planning, and cost management Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively Excellent skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and restaurant management practices Familiarity with food handling regulations, sanitation standards, and HACCP principles (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) Prior experience in managing catering events or banquet services is highly desirable Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and delivering outstanding guest experiences Join us as a Kitchen Lead to bring your culinary talents to life while leading a passionate team dedicated to excellence.
