This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality food service, regulatory compliance, resident satisfaction, and efficient daily operations while leading and supporting the dietary team. Responsibilities Oversee daily food service operations, including meal preparation, service, and sanitation. Lead, train, and support dietary staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Manage inventory, purchasing, budgeting, and food costs. Maintain high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction. Coordinate special events, catering, and resident-centered dining initiatives. Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and department performance. Qualifications Previous experience as a Food Service Director, Dietary Manager, or similar leadership role. Strong knowledge of food service operations, food safety, and sanitation standards. Experience managing staff, budgets, and inventory. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Healthcare, long-term care, or rehabilitation experience preferred. ServSafe Certification or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred.
