Job Summary We are seeking a School Nutrition Dietitian to assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition initiatives that support the school districts we serve in New Jersey.

Responsibilities:

Provides review of ingredients, recipes & menus to ensure compliance with USDA regulations. Manage food allergy program and compliance with special dietary needs requirements Provide support to the operations managers and school districts with regard to nutrition and developing healthy eating plans. Assists with the development, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition programs Serves as team lead by creating and implementing wellness and training programs Implements nutrition education lessons and programs

Qualifications:

Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian or preparing for RD exam (Internship Complete) Minimum one year of professional experience as a Registered Dietitian, preferred Employs a positive attitude and willingness to learn and be a key member of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to work with Nutrition analysis software Must be detail-oriented, with great time management skills Experience with working in a K12 School Foodservice environment, preferred Culinary experience a plus Pomptonian is an equal opportunity employer
