In this energetic role, you'll oversee daily restaurant activities, lead and motivate staff, ensure food safety and quality standards are met, and maintain a lively, welcoming environment for both guests and team members. Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring all team members deliver outstanding customer service and adhere to company standards. Lead staff training and development initiatives to promote a high-performing, motivated team. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality, safety, and consistency across all menu items. Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Control inventory levels by monitoring stock supplies, ordering necessary items, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with health regulations. Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty. Assist with budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and cost control measures to optimize restaurant performance. Oversee shift management duties including scheduling staff, managing labor costs, and ensuring smooth transitions between shifts. Support kitchen management by coordinating food production, supervising culinary staff, and maintaining efficient kitchen workflows. Experience Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and customer service. Previous supervisory or managerial roles within the food industry, including assistant manager or team leader positions. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions and reporting. Experience with inventory control, food safety management, and managing hospitality teams is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training, coaching, and performance management. Strong communication skills with the ability to handle managerial responsibilities like interviewing staff and conducting team training sessions. Knowledge of food industry standards including culinary techniques, food handling practices, and kitchen management procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, order accuracy, and financial analysis related to profit & loss statements.
