Job Description
Skilled Nursing Facility located in Dutchess County, New York, has immediate opening for an enthusiastic and energetic Food Service Director. The Food Service Director (FSD) is responsible for managing the food service operation of our Skilled Nursing Facility. The FSD must meet all regulatory requirements, health standards, and maintain quality food service within budget. The FSD must consistently endeavor to deliver nutritious food, expert management, and superior service to our clients and staff. Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Overseeing food preparation, portion sizes, and the overall presentation of food; Knowledge of regulating compliance and its application to food service operations; Oversight and planning of purchasing and inventory; Hiring Staff and contractors for quality nutritional services; Inspecting supplies, equipment, and work areas; Ensure employee's compliance with health and food safety standards and regulations; Investigating and resolving complaints regarding food quality or service;
