Job Description
We are seeking energetic, service‑focused individuals to join our Food & Beverage team. This general position may include duties as a Restaurant Server , Bartender , or Banquet Setup/Service Associate , depending on staffing needs. Team members deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing professional, courteous service in a fast‑paced, hospitality‑driven environment. The Event Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating weddings, conferences, banquets, and other events to ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role works closely with the catering and sales teams, clients, and hotel departments to ensure all event details are executed seamlessly, from initial planning through event completion. Event Supervisor Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during event planning and execution Coordinate weddings, conferences, and banquets Review and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) Ensure event spaces are properly set, clean, and organized Collaborate with food & beverage and operations teams Monitor events and address guest needs promptly Assist with breakdown, reporting, and administrative tasks. Qualifications Degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred but not required Certificate or diploma in Hospitality, Event Management, or related discipline is an asset 1-3 years of experience in event supervisor, hospitality, or a related field Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of food and beverage operations is preferred Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Strong customer service focus with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences Food & Beverage Staff (Server, Bartender, Banquet Associate) Responsibilities Provide friendly, professional service to guests Take orders, serve food and beverages, and handle payments Prepare drinks and maintain bar operations (bartenders) Set up and service banquet events Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas Follow all safety and sanitation standards Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior experience in serving, bartending, or banquet operations preferred; bartending requires at least one year of experience. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of POS systems (MICROS preferred for bartenders).
