Full-Time Shift 9 Job Description The Nutrition Services Supervisor is responsible for supervision and direction of food production and distribution to patients, guests, staff, and special functions. This position is also instrumental in supervision, direction, and assistance in maintaining a clean and safe environment in the Nutrition Services Department according to Hospital policy and procedure. Education And Credentials High School graduate or equivalent required. Associates Degree or Vocational/Technical Degree in Culinary Service, ffodservice, Hotel Restaurant Management, or Business Management preferred. Serve Safe Certification preferred. Experience 5 years Food Service experience with knowledge of food preparation, handling, and storage; with 3 years supervisory experience required. 3 years healthcare Food Service management experience preferred. Requires critical thinking skills, ability to stay calm under pressure, exemplifies excellent decision-making, delegating, and technical writing skills; leadership skills and ability to foster an environment of teamwork, professionalism, and customer satisfaction; takes initiative for problem solving, decision making, and managing employees; working collaboratively with a variety of licensed and non-licensed professionals internal and external to hospital operations, strong written and verbal communication skills, and basic math and computer skills.

Salary Range:
