The opportunity Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal Bar Supervisor to join our team at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting with bar operations, ensuring that our guests receive the best service possible, upholding a constant level of staff productivity, ensuring that the bar's budget is not exceeded, and maintaining health and safety standards within the bar. What will you do? Oversee bar set-up and closing procedures on event days Ensure that team members follow all company policies Observe, evaluate, and document job performance of team members Order and maintain product inventory Complete daily sales reports and reconciliation Assist with end-of-month inventory and financial reporting More about you Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory position Previous experience in bartending with knowledge of bartending techniques, recipes, sanitation, and safety issues Proficiency in Microsoft Office No college degree required Physical requirements Frequent walking; constant standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions Able to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds May be exposed to moderate noise levels and variable temperatures depending on the season Shift details Events Who we are UBS Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Elmont, New York, next to the Belmont Park race track.
