Jersey Mike's Subs is looking for a dependable, motivated Closing Shift Manager to help lead our team during evening and closing shifts. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys taking ownership, keeping a team organized, and making sure the store finishes the day strong. You'll essentially operate as a Shift Lead focused primarily on nights and closing shifts , helping manage the restaurant, support the crew, and ensure the store is clean, stocked, and ready for the next day. What You'll Do Lead the team during evening and closing shifts Provide excellent customer service and maintain Jersey Mike's standards Assign tasks and keep the team productive throughout the shift Help train and coach team members Handle cash and complete end-of-night closing procedures Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are followed Complete nightly cleaning and closing checklists Restock and prepare the store for the following day Handle customer concerns professionally Communicate important shift information to store management Help create a positive, fast-paced, team-oriented environment What We're Looking For Reliable and able to consistently work evening/closing shifts Previous restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred Previous leadership experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person Strong communication and teamwork skills Comfortable taking responsibility and leading a team Able to work in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and strong work ethic Dependable transportation Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position Why Join Us?
