The Opportunity We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Kitchen Steward & Operations Supervisor to champion our back-of-house organization and sanitation operations. This isn't just about managing a cleaning schedule; it's about leadership. You will be the backbone of our kitchen logistics, inspiring a dedicated team, coordinating seamlessly with culinary and dining room leadership, and ensuring our high-volume operations run safely, smoothly, and flawlessly. Key Responsibilities Inspire & Lead:
Supervise, train, and motivate a dedicated stewardship team, cultivating a positive, accountable, and supportive kitchen culture. Maintain the
Standard:
Oversee comprehensive daily cleaning and sanitation schedules for all kitchen, prep, and service areas, ensuring every corner meets top-tier health and luxury standards.
Streamline Inventory:
Manage and optimize the inventory of cleaning supplies, chemical systems, janitorial equipment, and laundry services to guarantee maximum operational efficiency.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Work hand-in-hand with Chefs and dining room staff to ensure seamless teamwork and fluid operations during high-volume event execution and daily service.
Safety First:
Enforce all safety and hygiene protocols, ensuring strict compliance with health regulations regarding equipment use and chemical handling.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct proactive, detailed facility inspections to catch and resolve structural or cleanliness needs before they affect the line or the guest experience. What You Bring to the
Team Proven Leadership:
At least 2 years of supervisory experience within a premium restaurant, hotel, country club, or high-volume catering environment.
Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, sanitation protocols, safe chemical handling, and inventory control.
