Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This position will support our pastry production team in preparing a wide range of baked goods along with some savory items, including but not limited to breads, laminated pastries, muffins, donuts, quiche, sandwiches, tarts, cakes mixes, ice cream, cookies, icings, and fillings. The ideal candidate has experience and is comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, breads, and other baked goods Help with lamination and dough production Bake cakes, cupcakes and cookies and prepare fillings and icings Prepare meat and vegetables for savory offerings, assemble upon order. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas Follow recipes and instructions accurately Ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene Decorate cakes and cupcakes for the store
Requirements:
Prior kitchen experince Willingness to learn and grow Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work early mornings and weekends Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Why Join Us?
