In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of food service professionals, manage restaurant functions during your shift, and uphold the highest standards of food safety, customer service, and operational efficiency. Your leadership will inspire teamwork, streamline processes, and drive the restaurant's success through effective management and hands-on supervision. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company standards. Lead, motivate, and train staff on food preparation, customer service, and POS systems. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Oversee food handling and preparation processes to maintain quality standards and compliance with health regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile shift cash drawers. Conduct staff training sessions on food safety, hospitality best practices, and team management to foster a high-performing team environment. Support managerial tasks such as budgeting, profit & loss analysis, staff scheduling, interviewing potential team members, and performance evaluations. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Enforce health & safety standards including food safety management practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques. Demonstrated leadership in supervising hospitality teams with excellent team management skills. Familiarity with POS systems Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety management, and food handling procedures. Experience with restaurant management tasks including shift management, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and staff training & development. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a managerial capacity. Ability to handle cash accurately while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting. Basic math skills for order calculations, inventory tracking, and financial reporting. Previous experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
