Pay Range:
$37.40- 45.91 per hour (based on experience)

- Lead, coach, and inspire the Chef Manager, cooks, food servers, and dishwashing team to deliver exceptional service.
- Create staff schedules that ensure strong coverage and a smooth dining experience for residents and guests.
- Champion rigorous sanitation, cleaning, food handling, preparation, and storage
- practices that meet health department regulations and protect resident well-being. Partner with the Chef Manager to select and purchase menu ingredients and other food items that support quality, variety, and resident preferences.
- Research, select, and purchase specialty items and capital equipment that enhance culinary operations.
- Monitor monthly budget reports, manage costs responsibly, and help the department meet its financial goals.
- Interview and evaluate candidates, then lead onboarding, training, and development efforts that build an engaged, high-performing team.
- Facilitate resident Dining Committee meetings, listen to feedback, and turn insights into meaningful improvements.
- Lead staff meetings that strengthen communication, collaboration, and accountability.
- Oversee catering services and special events that create memorable moments throughout the community. Minimum Qualifications
- Five+ years' nutrition services experience.
- Five+ years management or supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Dining Service functions and related federal and state regulations
- Demonstrated abilities to participate in and collaborate with groups
- Ability to positively manage and communicate change and to model appropriate behaviors to staff and others
- High level of commitment to and success with effective customer service skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Effective time management, prioritization and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications
