Nelbud Lead/Lead-in-training Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician About the Role We are looking for a Lead or Lead-in-Training Service Technician to join our team and take ownership of job sites while leading a small crew. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining kitchen grease exhaust systems, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality work for our customers. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, leading others, and taking pride in getting the job done right. Opportunity to earn a base salary plus commission. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew of Service Technicians on job sites Clean and maintain kitchen grease exhaust systems, including hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans Remove grease buildup through scraping and power washing Ensure all safety procedures are followed on and off the job site Transport, operate, and maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles Install and seal access panels as needed Complete required job documentation, including reports, photos, and service records Identify and report safety hazards or equipment issues Train and support new technicians on procedures and safety standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas Qualifications High school diploma or GED required At least 1 year of experience in a related field Experience leading or training others is a plus Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Requirements Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and on-call as needed Comfortable working on rooftops and in confined spaces Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs regularly, more with assistance) Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and physical environments Basic technology skills (smartphone, tablet, job reporting systems) Why Join Us Opportunity to step into a leadership role in the field Hands-on work with a strong team environment Ongoing training and development opportunities Stable, full-time work with growth potential Apply Today If you are a dependable, hardworking technician ready to lead a crew and grow your career, we encourage you to apply.
