Role:

The Warehouse Shift Supervisor plays a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers. The successful candidate for this position should be a leader who motivates their shift to be a winning team. The successful candidate needs to take pride in their team, set goals, and inspire their team to reach these goals. The shift supervisor leads warehouse team members in safely and efficiently fulfilling orders for customers, ensuring that the order is shipped accurately and on time. The supervisor will oversee a team of approximately 35 people with the assistance of two additional team leads.

Primary Responsibilities:

You will work within our WMS to complete customer orders in the proper time frameYou will communicate regularly with customer service regarding updates to ordersYou are responsible for warehouse team member performanceYou assist with process improvements You own safety on your shiftYou will perform team member evaluations at various times during the yearYou will have the responsibility to manage the labor cost for your operationYou are happy to work 2nd shift (2:00 PM 10:00 PM). Supervisor day is normally an hour before the shift and 20 mins after the shift

The Right Candidate:

High School Diploma required, a college degree is a plusMust be comfortable setting goals and discussing performance with associatesEvidence of analytical reasoning and mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide Must be flexible to attend occasional meetings before the shiftAn ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of warehouse experience At least 2 years of supervisory experienceExperience with a WMS system is helpfulProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordRF scanner experience (preferred)About the
