This position supports daily meal production for senior home‑delivered meals, ensuring high‑quality preparation, portioning, sealing, labeling, and storage in a fast‑paced kitchen environment. The Cook/Lead helps maintain kitchen organization, supports packing operations, and must be willing to pitch in across any area of the workflow to keep operations running smoothly. Ideal candidates are dependable , detail‑oriented, and passionate about serving seniors. Join us to make a meaningful impact! Duties Prepare meals according to recipes and portion guidelines for senior home delivery. Dish, seal, label, and store meals while maintaining quality and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen in compliance with food safety regulations. Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and surfaces after use. Occasionally assist with packing orders for delivery. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations in a fast-paced environment. Answer phone calls and provide information to current and potential clients as needed. Qualifications Must have dietary cooking experience and previous supervisory experience in a kitchen or food‑service setting. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe Certification). Ability to work efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Basic communication skills to answer phone calls and provide information to current and potential clients. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
