Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Kitchen Supervisor to lead our back-of-house team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of restaurant and kitchen management experience, a passion for food quality, and the leadership skills necessary to build, develop, and inspire a high-performing team. This role is responsible for maintaining exceptional food quality, controlling costs, ensuring food safety compliance, and driving operational excellence. We're looking for someone who is organized, creative, and committed to continuous improvement while helping our growing, locally owned company succeed. Responsibilities Supervise and lead all back-of-house operations to ensure efficient daily service. Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and presentation. Train, coach, and develop kitchen staff while promoting cross-training and career growth. Manage food and labor costs through effective scheduling, inventory control, purchasing, portion control, and waste reduction. Develop and implement systems that improve efficiency and kitchen performance. Ensure compliance with all health, sanitation, and food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels, product rotation, and vendor ordering. Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment. Work closely with ownership and management to achieve operational and financial goals. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of restaurant and kitchen management experience. Strong understanding of food cost controls, inventory management, and labor management. Proven leadership and team-building skills. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
