Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Restaurant Shift Leader to join our dynamic team! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food preparation, and smooth team management. Your leadership will inspire staff, uphold food safety standards, and maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities Lead and supervise restaurant staff during your shift, including training, coaching, and motivating team members to deliver outstanding service. Oversee food preparation and ensure all dishes meet quality standards while adhering to food safety regulations. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy. Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, placing orders, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Ensure quick service delivery in a fast food or casual dining setting by coordinating kitchen and front-of-house operations seamlessly. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and create a positive dining experience for all guests. Support staff hiring processes through interviewing and onboarding new team members while fostering a collaborative team environment. Qualifications Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision within quick service, casual dining, or fine dining environments. Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential. Demonstrated leadership abilities with previous supervising or management experience in the hospitality industry. Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes to maintain operational efficiency. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Prior experience in training & development of staff, restaurant management, or catering is highly desirable. Pay:
$15.50 – $16.50 per hour
