We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Cook to join our team for our Part Time Dayshift/Afternoon shift position! Hours are 10am-6:30pm pm and is a 3 day a week position with every other weekend rotation and share of holidays. As a Lead Cook, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen and ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

Serves and cooks food for regular and modified diets. Food Preparations include cookery and service of hot and cold foods. Follows recipes as designed by the Registered Dietitian. Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family, and visitors. Makes independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Possess leadership and willingness to work harmoniously with personnel. Have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Must complete continuing education as required by the State of Ohio. Plan and execute menus for catering events

• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Train and supervise kitchen staff
• Ensure that all food is prepared safely and in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
