Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Restaurant Kitchen Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for Assisting the Restaurant Kitchen Manager in all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of associates in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control and sanitation and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, work under pressure and meet deadlines with particular attention to detail.
Ability to communicate clearly on various levels to include senior management, guests, vendors, and associates. Ability to get along well with others, to demonstrate flexibility and patience, to work as a member of a team. Good knowledge of food trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentations are helpful. What We're Looking For Excellent organizational, problem solving, supervisory and time management skills required.
Must have multi-task skills and experience to implement large group activities that require the coordination of numerous services.
Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the issues raised by Associates, Supervisors, Department Heads, Senior Management, and guests.
