Job Description
Attention all dog lovers! Are you looking for a fun and rewarding leadership role that lets you spend your days surrounded by furry friends? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We're looking for a dedicated Shift Leader to be a leader in our pack. As a Shift Leader, you'll be responsible for supervising and leading the team of K9 Attendants, ensuring they provide exceptional care and service to our furry clients.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising and leading a team of K9 Attendants to provide exceptional care to dogs of all sizes and breeds
- Ensuring all K9 Attendants are following established protocols and procedures for cleaning and dog management
- Handling customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Administering medication to dogs as directed by their owners
- Providing lots of love and attention to our furry guests
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have your own reliable transportation
- Must have FULL availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays for a total of 35-40 hours/week
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, POS systems, and basic computer skills, be highly organized, on-time, and reliable.
- Must have a passion for working with animals
- Previous experience working in a dog daycare or kennel, and in a leadership or supervisory role is a plus
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to clean up after dogs all day long (You know what we mean)
