Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Charge Nurse for our Skilled Over-Flow Unit and Weekend Supervisor to lead our nursing team during weekend shifts. This vital role involves overseeing patient care, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and managing nursing staff to deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a passion for enhancing the well-being of our residents. Schedule 3-12hr shifts per week 6:30a-7p Charge Nurse during the weekdays on a Skilled Over-Flow Unit and Supervisor on the weekends/holidays. Rotating weekends and holiday rotation. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during weekend shifts to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical documentation. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and manage catheter care in accordance with established protocols. Oversee clinical procedures such as tube feeding, sterile processing, and ventilator management while maintaining infection control standards. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, state healthcare laws, long-term care regulations, and nursing policy standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and utilization review processes. Maintain accurate medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Point Click Care to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness. Provide leadership in managing care facility teams by supervising staff performance and fostering a positive work environment.
