Dietary Manager Saint Therese life insurance, 403(b), employee discount United States, Ohio, Westlake Jul 03, 2026 Dietary Manager | Full-Time The Difference You'll Make As the Dietary Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in creating a safe, nourishing, and enjoyable dining experience for our residents. You'll oversee all aspects of Dining Services-from menu planning and purchasing to staffing and compliance-ensuring high-quality food, efficient operations, and exceptional service every day.
- Lead Dining Operations
- Oversee daily Dining Services operations, including menu planning, purchasing, scheduling, and budget management
- Review and manage departmental budgets, ensuring financial goals and staffing levels are met
- Manage Purchasing & Resources
- Approve and coordinate purchasing of food, supplies, and dining-related equipment
- Research, evaluate, and select specialty items and capital equipment to enhance service and efficiency
- Develop & Lead Your Team
- Interview, hire, and evaluate Dining Services team members
- Plan, implement, and oversee staff training and development
- Review staff schedules to ensure proper coverage while maintaining budgeted staffing levels
- Ensure Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Maintain strict adherence to health department regulations and food safety standards
- Oversee sanitation, cleaning, food handling, and food storage practices to ensure a safe environment
- Proactively monitor processes to prevent food-borne illness and ensure compliance
- Enhance the Resident Experience
- Lead and facilitate the Dining Committee to gather feedback and improve services
- Oversee all catering functions and special dining events
- Support Community Leadership
- Partner with leadership to continuously improve dining services and resident satisfaction
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director Requirements
- 2+ years of nutrition services experience.
- Management or supervisory experience
- Registered member of the American Dietetic Association
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Dining Service functions and related federal and state regulations
- Ability to positively manage and communicate change and to model appropriate behaviors to staff and others
- High level of commitment to and success with effective customer service skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Effective time management, prioritization and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition Rewards That Support You
