Morning Shift Lead - Front of House Morning person? Responsible adult? Love pizza? Good. We'll feed you every shift. Woodward Pizza is looking for a Morning Shift Lead to help us kick off the day and keep things running smoothly until the dinner crew takes over. You'll open the restaurant, take care of guests, work the bar, handle key-holder responsibilities, and make sure the Front of House is stocked, clean, organized, and ready to get slammed at dinner. Never bartended before? That's fine. We'll teach you. We're much more interested in finding someone dependable, friendly, motivated, and capable of figuring out what needs to be done without someone standing over their shoulder. And yes, you get a shift meal every shift. We make pizza for a living. It would be weird if we didn't feed you. This isn't a stuffy management job, but it is a leadership position. We need someone we can trust with a key and trust to take ownership of the restaurant when they're running the front. What You'll Do Open the restaurant and get the Front of House ready for the day Greet guests, take orders, answer questions, and generally make people glad they came in Make and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and nonalcoholic drinks Handle cash and complete opening and mid-day procedures Keep the bar and dining room clean, stocked, and organized Restock and reset so the PM crew isn't walking into a disaster Notice what needs to be done and do it without waiting to be asked Help keep service moving when things get busy Work with the kitchen and the rest of the team instead of treating FOH and BOH like opposing teams Follow food-safety and responsible alcohol-service procedures Who We're Looking For You don't need years of restaurant experience or a résumé full of bartending jobs.

Show up when you're scheduled Show up on time Be comfortable talking to people Stay productive when we're not busy Keep your cool when we are busy Take responsibility instead of waiting for someone else to handle it Be willing to learn Care about leaving things better than you found them Be 21 years of age Want to Grow?
