Kitchen/prep experience is a MUST.
Schedule:
Full-Time/part time
Hours of Crimson Melt:
11am-8pm (Mon-Thurs), Friday/Saturday 11am-9pm, Sundays 12pm-6pm.
Compensation:
Paid training Bonuses and raises per performance Paid Time Off (Full Time) Tips paid bi-weekly to all staff
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Proven kitchen experience and assistant manager experience in a fast-paced environment Strong food preparation and cooking skills Knowledge of food service and food handling practices Familiarity with dietary department operations and menu planning Excellent knife skills and meal preparation abilities Experience in catering and serving within the food industry Culinary experience, particularly in fine dining settings, is a plus Set up workstations with all necessary supplies and equipment Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the staff Answer, report and follow instructions regarding food preparation and cooking methods Clean up station and take care of leftover food Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Clean and bus tables Washing dishes Greeting and conversing with guests Taking out trash Handling money Keeping track of inventory and assisting with counts Closing and opening kitchen area Keeping all food areas clean and organized Control labor Prevent food waste This job description is not intended to be all inclusive.
