As a key member of our foodservice team, the Dietary Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of patient care through exceptional culinary experiences.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise a team of dietary staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient meals and snacks Develop and implement dietary menus that cater to patients' nutritional needs and preferences Monitor food quality, safety, and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely delivery of patient meal orders Manage food inventory, ordering, and budgeting to minimize waste and optimize resources Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events, parties, and functions for patients, visitors, and staff Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs as required by regulatory agencies and organizational policies
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a healthcare or foodservice setting Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively supervise and motivate staff Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform other physical demands of the job High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in foodservice management, nutrition, or a related field preferred
