Berwick - Bloomsburg area
Schedule:
Full-Time | Day Shift We are seeking an experienced Dietary Manager to oversee dietary operations at our skilled nursing facility in the Berwick - Bloomsburg area. In this role, you will ensure high-quality food service while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the dietary department Manage food service staff, including scheduling, hiring, and performance management Conduct probationary and annual employee evaluations and administer disciplinary actions as needed Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus and approved substitutions Ensure food is prepared according to standardized recipes and special diet orders Review resident care plans to ensure dietary needs are being met Provide nutrition support with guidance from a Registered Dietitian Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support overall facility operations Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and dietary regulations Qualifications Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred; candidates with strong dietary management experience may be considered without certification Current ServSafe Certification preferred Previous long-term care experience preferred Prior management or supervisory experience preferred Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
