Job Description
Grove City College Dining is searching for an experienced Catering Captain - Supervisor. As part of the management team, this catering leader will manage and assist our Catering Director along with supporting team members in an account with over 1 million dollars in managed catering volume annually. This position oversees, prepares and executes catering operations to ensure that customers, clients and guests receive an exceptional experience and all food is served in accordance with Parkhurst Gold Standards. The Catering Captain-Supervisor is also responsible for menu planning, assisting with the preparation of budgets, management of labor costs. In addition, this position oversees supervision of team members and is responsible for menu communications, training in proper methods of service and food presentation techniques, plus controls event operational flow in a smooth and efficient manner.
