Job Description

Join our team as a Food Service Specialist at our Corporate Office. This part-time position is scheduled for 3 days per week, with the opportunity to work up to 5 days per week as needed for coverage support. Typical work hours are 8:00 AM to 1:15 PM, offering a consistent daytime schedule and a great work-life balance. Food Service Specialist - What Will You Do? Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing the cafeteria area. Assist with food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes. Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation. Support the kitchen staff in setting up and cleaning cooking equipment, utensils, and workstations. Work with coworkers to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks. Adhere to all kitchen policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a safe and productive work environment. Assist in receiving and storing food supplies, ensuring proper rotation and storage practices. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of any shortages or discrepancies. Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or supervisor. Requirements - Who Are We Looking For? Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when necessary. Positive attitude and willingness to grow and learn.
