Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and spirits service, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms Upsell menu items such as wines, specialty cocktails, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food preparation or food handling as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, or special requests with professionalism and enthusiasm Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting, ideally with fine dining exposure Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that fosters guest loyalty Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Experience in food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Knowledge of the food industry trends and a passion for hospitality that drives memorable guest experiences Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where every guest feels valued!
