Job Description

Overview A senior living community in the West Chester area is seeking an experienced Director ofDining Operations to lead its culinary and dining services program. This is a great opportunity for a hospitality-focused leader who enjoys building strong teams, creating high-quality dining experiences, and ensuring residents receive excellent service every day. The Director of Dining Operations will oversee daily kitchen and dining operations, including food quality, service standards, staffing, sanitation, budgeting, inventory, and resident satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance culinary execution with team development and strong operational oversight. Responsibilities Lead culinary and dining services operations across the community Supervise, train, and support culinary and dining team members Ensure meals are prepared and served with quality, consistency, and attention to presentation Oversee menu execution, food ordering, inventory, and cost controls Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards Partner with leadership to support resident satisfaction and special events Monitor department performance, staffing needs, and service standards Create a positive, hospitality-driven dining experience for residents, families, and guests Qualifications Proven management experience in food service management or hospitality management roles with a strong background in restaurant or kitchen operations. Extensive culinary experience with expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards. Supervising experience with a track record of leading diverse teams in fast-paced environments. Knowledge of food safety protocols, dietary considerations, and sanitation regulations essential for maintaining high standards. Familiarity with restaurant management systems, shift scheduling software, and inventory control tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle complex situations diplomatically and professionally. Strong leadership qualities combined with effective communication skills to motivate teams and drive operational success. Pay:
$105,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
