Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital is hiring a Lead Cook , Full time schedule Prepares and cooks resident meals according to menus and standardized recipes; estimates quantity of food needed to serve residents and staff meals, minimizing overages and shortages; follows all safety guidelines such as utilizing proper food handling and sanitation techniques; directs and coordinates the activities of dietary personnel in all aspects of food production and ensures food is handled, prepared and stored according to regulations. Education High School Grad or Equivalent (Required) Certification/Licensure Food Handlers Card (Required) Experience Food Service - 1 year (Required) Talroo - Allied Health, food handling, cook, kitchen, restaurant, meals, recipes, menus We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $23.52 - $34.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
