The Role As a Shift Lead, you'll step into a hybrid role: part team member, part coach, part operator. You'll run service alongside your team while overseeing shift flow, supporting team communication, and upholding Bonrue's brand standards in every interaction—from the pastry case to the cash drawer. What You'll Do Lead store operations during opening, mid, or closing shifts Oversee all cleanliness including but not limited to dishwashing, sweeping, moping, etc. Support and direct FOH and BOH teams in real time Monitor product quality, speed of service, and guest experience Delegate tasks during service and keep team energy high Perform accurate cash drawer counts and support end-of-day financial procedures Execute shift checklists, oversee cleanliness, and ensure prep completion Assist in training new team members and reinforcing brand expectations Communicate wins, challenges, and team needs to the General Manager Handle shift-level decisions including guest recovery, break coverage, and role adjustments Maintain pace, presence, and professionalism from start to finish Who You Are You might be a great fit if you: Have 1-2 years of food service or hospitality experience Are confident leading a team and giving direction under pressure Know how to keep things clean, calm, and moving—no matter how busy Are detail-oriented and comfortable handling money and shift reports Love working with people and setting a positive tone Are punctual, reliable, and thrive in fast-paced settings Hold or are willing to obtain a Utah ServSafe certificate Are at least 18 years old and available for early mornings, weekends, or holidays What We Offer Competitive hourly pay + pooled tips Leadership coaching and career development opportunities Cross-training in concierge, savory, bakery, and barista roles Flexible scheduling A team culture rooted in trust, pace, and hospitality The chance to grow with one of Utah's fastest-growing bakery brands INDFOH
