Full Job Description Customer Service & Sales:
Greeting customers: Providing a warm and welcoming greeting to all customers.
Taking orders:
Accurately understanding customer preferences and translating them into orders.
Scooping ice cream:
Preparing ice cream in cones, cups, or sundaes.
Answering questions:
Providing information about flavors, ingredients, and special offers.
Upselling:
Suggesting additional toppings or menu items.
Providing excellent customer service:
Going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
Operational & Inventory:
Operating the cash register: Accurately handling cash transactions and making change.
Maintaining cleanliness:
Keeping the work area and customer seating area tidy and sanitary.
Restocking supplies:
Ensuring an adequate supply of ice cream, cones, cups, toppings, etc. Following safety and food handling regulations: Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
Assisting with opening/closing procedures:
May be responsible for tasks like preparing the shop for business or closing up for the night
