Job Summary:
To uphold the CFP philosophy and values; providing trauma-based care within the ARC framework. To promote health and safety standards while assuming responsibility for the supervision and participation of daily operations of the site; to provide supervision and training to direct care staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Service Delivery:
Interact with clients in ways that are trauma-informed, positive and uplifting, and with sensitivity to their lived experience. This includes when interactions involve disagreements, conflicts, or violations of policy, rules, or expectations. Work as part of the clients' treatment team in the development and carrying out of the client and family's individualized service plan which include: treatment goals, vocational planning, social/emotional goals, family involvement and educational plans- prioritizing school attendance. Assist the House Manager to ensure staff are actively working with youth and their family's to achieve their goals and implement any established safety plans. Assist in communicating to all staff working at the site of any changes to service plans, safety plans, medication, or medical needs. To regularly participate in weekly scheduled recreational activities with the clients. To observe and evaluate each client in terms of their adherence to the rules of the program - participating in house meetings and clinical sessions Act as liaison, advocate and coordinator for client involvement in self-advocacy, vocational/educational programming, integrated community activities, recreation and learning independent living skills To actively partner with families by maintaining contact with the client's families/kin/mentor and monitor and document all weekly family contacts. Prompt reporting to the House Manager/Program Director/Administrators/Treatment team any issues or concerns regarding residents, including missing/absent residents, illnesses, or other incidents or emergencies, including those occurring after-hours or on weekends. To provide a safe and nurturing home-like environment which includes managing ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the property (inside and outside) and agency vehicles. Personnel:
To provide initial onsite staff orientation and ongoing onsite training, maintaining documentation for staff members. Weekly Meetings:
Staff house meetings and individual staff supervision. To act as an advocate for the staff of the house. Ensure clear communication of events, training, policy changes and meetings to staff site.
Administrative/Leadership:
Provide program leadership and effective problem solving to promote effective services and operations. Works in conjunction with the House Manager to encourage teamwork and the continuity of care and services 24/7. Represents the Program to visitors, outside stakeholders, and neighbors in a professional manner, alerting administrators promptly to any concerns or issues that may arise. To maintain & monitor agency standards for the physical site and to ensure that staff are familiar with the standards. Provide timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state, accreditation and agency timelines. To provide weekly written records to the program office including; logs, incident reports, menus, budget materials, home visit records, and staff time sheets. Participate in required agency training, meetings and workshop offerings completing all required sessions within designated timelines Provide data as requested in a timely and efficient manner Must have flexibility in emergency redeployment to another program and/or rescheduling staff coverage needs during inclement weather, emergency conditions Participate in the Residential on-call rotation
Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle transportation required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage household budget. Must be culturally competent and able to relate professionally to a wide range of clients and staff. Organizational ability- Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Familiarity and ability to utilize administrative software like Microsoft Office or Google Suite. Strong communication, leadership, and crisis management skills are essential.
Experience:
Prefer BS/BA in human services or related field and one-year prior experience working with either children, youth or residential care OR High School Graduate with two years residential experience working with children and adolescents. Supervisory experience preferred.
Pay:
$25.00 - $25.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
