Job Description
Position Summary:
Jack in the Box Restaurant Team Leader supervises restaurant operations during assigned shifts, playing a key role in delivering quality guest service, supporting staff, and ensuring operational success. This role recognizes the importance of leadership in creating a positive environment and supports the Restaurant Manager by guiding team members, maintaining standards, and addressing operational issues as they arise. Please note that this position will require a background check.Compensation:
Pay Range:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have open availability to work morning, evening, overnights, weekends and holidays Lead and supervise team members during assigned shifts to ensure excellent service and operational efficiency Support opening, closing, and daily shift procedures, including cash handling and POS operations Monitor food preparation and service to ensure quality and adherence to company standards Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints professionally and promptly Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the restaurant Enforce company policies and operational procedures consistently Communicate shift performance, operational issues, and staffing needs to management Collaborate with team members to foster a positive, productive work environmentQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous supervisory restaurant or food service experience Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to operate POS systems accurately and handle cash responsibly Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 40 lbs 2-3 years of experienceWork Environment:
This position operates in a fast-paced restaurant environment, requiring frequent interaction with guests and staff. The Team Leader must be able to manage multiple priorities, supervise team members, and maintain operational and customer service standards throughout the shift.Pay:
