Overview Watts Bar & Grill is a growing, locally owned restaurant focused on serving great food and providing friendly, reliable service. We are looking for a dependable Shift Lead to help oversee daily shifts and support our team. This is a hands-on leadership position. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, stays calm during busy periods, and is willing to jump in wherever needed. Responsibilities Lead and support the team during assigned shifts Help open and close the restaurant Ensure excellent customer service and accurate order execution Assign stations and coordinate staff during busy periods Train and coach team members Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures Assist with food preparation, serving, cashiering, cleaning, and other restaurant duties Monitor product quality, cleanliness, and portion control Help manage inventory, restocking, and waste Handle routine customer concerns professionally Complete shift checklists, cash-handling procedures, and basic reports Communicate staffing, supply, and operational issues to the owner or manager Qualifications Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred Previous leadership or key-holder experience is a plus Strong communication and problem-solving skills Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to remain organized and calm in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [25/40/50] pounds Food-handler certification or willingness to obtain one, if required by local law

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
