Calallen The Senior Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that food and services are delivered to guests in a manner that reflects the purpose and quality requirements of Chick-fil-A, Inc., as well as the mission, vision and values of Chick-fil-A Calallen.

The Senior Team Leader is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant's heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our Senior Team Leaders are responsible for supporting the Front of House Director in executing daily operations and keeping Team Members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. The Senior Team Leader is accountable for achieving high performance in the following areas: Overall Guest Satisfaction, Order Accuracy, Speed of Service, Cleanliness, Restaurant Operational Excellence (ROE), Labor Costs, Food Costs, Sales Growth and Profitability. Two main areas of focus for Senior Team Leaders are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing Team Members. Senior Team Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Team Members Team Leader Responsibilities:
Fulfills responsibilities described in the FOH Team Member and Team Leader job descriptions Ensures a healthy working environment that encourages teamwork and displays the values of honor, dignity and respect Works collaboratively with the BOH Team to ensure that guests receive hot, fresh food in a timely Ensures food safety and hygiene guidelines are being communicated to Team Leaders, Trainers and Team Members regularly and followed consistently In collaboration with the Front of House Director, holds Team Leaders, Trainers and Team Members accountable for complying with quality requirements and guidelines and Restaurant policies and procedures Executes strategies/tactics of the strategic plan as assigned and assists Restaurant Leaders with their strategic areas of responsibility Stewards resources effectively to ensure that performance metrics such as target food and labor costs are met Ensures that Team Leaders and Team Members are delivering hospitality services with excellence as reflected by CARES and CEM scores Reviews and shares key reports and data regarding Restaurant performance with Team Leaders Ensures the safety of Team Members and guests by evaluating the Front of House environment for hazardous elements and addressing issues in a timely manner Resolves guest concerns in a manner that maintains the honor, dignity and respect of the guests and Team Members Communicates with Team Leaders and Team Members, as appropriate, regarding guest requests and/or concerns Communicates with the Front of House Director regarding any restaurant activities, equipment issues or other concerns impacting the guest experience Engages and connects with guests by executing Winning Hearts Every Day (WHED), Core Four behaviors and 2nd Mile Service expectations Attends and contributes to meetings pertinent to his/her role and those deemed mandatory for the overall success of the Restaurant Participates in coaching and crucial conversations with Team Leaders and Team Members as needed to ensure that operational and behavioral expectations are maintained Communicates effectively with the Front of House Director regarding performance of Team Members and the effectiveness of Front of House operations Mentors informal leaders to ensure the sustainability of Restaurant Leadership Conducts daily audits to ensure food is accurately labeled In collaboration with the Front of House Director, ensures the shift is run effectively and efficiently by assigning FOH Team Members to positions suited to skills and abilities Maintains a refreshingly clean environment and ensures Team Members do the same Provides direction to Team Leaders and Team Members regarding daily activities to ensure the restaurant operates effectively Works with a sense of urgency and ensures tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner In collaboration with Kitchen Leaders, ensures that large orders and food for special events are executed timely and in a remarkable manner In addition to completing own tasks, assists others with tasks to ensure guests receive a caring experience Acts as a resource for Team Leaders, Trainers and Team Members and assists with finding answers to questions Communicates product and/or inventory issues to the Front of House Director Answers guests questions and obtains the assistance of a Director, if needed Ensures assigned duties are complete by the end of shift Provides change of shift and/or end of shift summaries to ensure that open communication of restaurant needs are passed onto the next shift Completes other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
At least 2 years previous food service experience, one year previous leadership experience preferred and 100% of Pathway training completed Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, or restaurant manager preferred Reliable transportation Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to serve Team Members Strong commitment to superior customer service Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility Detail-oriented Able to multi-task Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule Basic math, reading and writing skills Have the ability to lift and carry 25-50 lbs on a regular basis Have the ability to stand for long periods of time (6-10 hours) Have the ability to complete repetitive tasks with few breaks
