Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Shift Lead to join our vibrant team! As a key leader during your shift, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and motivate staff to deliver an outstanding dining experience. Your role is vital in maintaining smooth kitchen and front-of-house functions, managing food quality and safety standards, and fostering a positive team environment. Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service. Lead staff training and development, including onboarding new team members and coaching for performance improvement. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to maintain quality and safety standards in line with health regulations. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy. Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Ensure adherence to food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food production techniques. Support management in budgeting tasks, labor scheduling, and maintaining a positive hospitality environment that encourages teamwork. Requirements Proven experience in food service management or supervising teams within quick service or fast food restaurants. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential. Familiarity with inventory control, food safety standards, and hospitality best practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a collaborative team atmosphere. Prior experience in fine dining, casual dining, catering or hotel food service is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
