This role oversees barista performance, product quality, customer experience, labor execution, inventory, and compliance with Starbucks brand standards and company policies. The Starbucks Manager ensures the kiosk meets sales, service, and operational expectations while maintaining a positive and customer‑focused team environment. Key Responsibilities Starbucks Operations & Brand Standards Lead daily operations of the licensed Starbucks kiosk Ensure adherence to Starbucks beverage recipes, quality standards, and brand guidelines Execute Starbucks promotions, signage, and merchandising standards Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times Ensure kiosk readiness throughout operating hours Leadership & Partner (Barista) Development Hire, train, coach, and develop Starbucks baristas Create schedules aligned to business needs and labor targets Provide ongoing feedback, recognition, and corrective action as needed Ensure completion of required Starbucks training and certifications Foster an inclusive, high‑energy, and customer‑focused culture Customer Experience Deliver exceptional customer service consistent with Starbucks expectations Actively resolve customer concerns and service issues Model strong service behaviors and beverage quality Maintain a welcoming, efficient, and professional environment Inventory, Ordering & Waste Control Manage ordering of Starbucks ingredients, supplies, and packaging Maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize waste Ensure proper rotation, dating, and storage of products Complete required inventory counts and documentation Labor & Scheduling Plan and manage department labor within budgeted guidelines Monitor productivity and adjust staffing based on traffic and demand Ensure accurate timekeeping and compliance with attendance policies Partner with store leadership on payroll and staffing needs Safety, Compliance & Asset Protection Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and safety standards Maintain a safe work environment for partners and customers Secure cash, keys, and product according to policy Report and document incidents or operational issues as required Partnership with Store Leadership Partner with Store Director, Assistant Store Director, and Admin Coordinator Participate in leadership meetings as needed Support store initiatives while maintaining Starbucks brand integrity Scope of Authority Directly supervises Starbucks baristas Makes day‑to‑day operational decisions within the kiosk Partners with store leadership on performance management and discipline Does not independently finalize terminations without leadership approval
Pay Transparency:
Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, any applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or Company policy, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay
