Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Shift Leader to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company standards Lead and motivate team members through effective communication, training, and coaching to deliver outstanding guest experiences Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to maintain high quality and safety standards Manage POS systems such as Toast for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, conducting regular audits, and coordinating with management for timely replenishment Enforce food safety protocols including proper sanitation, food safety management practices, and compliance with health regulations Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive relationships Support kitchen management by supervising food production activities and maintaining efficient kitchen workflows Conduct shift management tasks such as scheduling staff coverage, managing labor costs, and analyzing profit & loss reports Experience Proven experience in restaurant environments with a focus on team supervision and shift management Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards Hands-on experience with POS systems including Toast for transactions and reporting Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills for managing teams effectively Familiarity with budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food cost control strategies Previous roles involving supervising food production or catering services are highly desirable Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining high levels of customer service excellence Join us as a Restaurant Shift Leader where your enthusiasm for hospitality meets your leadership talent!
