Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Shift Leader, where you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring smooth restaurant operations during your shift. This energetic leadership role requires a proactive, organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a Shift Leader, you will oversee daily restaurant activities, supervise staff, manage food safety standards, and uphold our commitment to quality service. Your enthusiasm and management skills will inspire your team to excel while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and efficient food production. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Supervise inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Train new staff and provide ongoing development opportunities to enhance team performance. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Handle customer concerns promptly, resolving issues to guarantee satisfaction and repeat business. Monitor shift operations, including managing labor costs, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis. Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food preparation and cooking skills. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams, manage shifts, and lead staff training initiatives effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management and managing guest interactions. Strong understanding of food safety management, food handling procedures, and health regulations. Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory counts, and financial reporting. Experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles with a focus on team leadership and operational oversight. Ability to communicate clearly with team members, management, and guests while maintaining a positive attitude.
