Job Description
Role Description The Kitchen Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Round Rock, TX. This role oversees daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure dishes meet quality and presentation standards. The Kitchen Supervisor coordinates staff schedules, assigns tasks, and provides guidance and coaching to kitchen team members. Responsibilities include monitoring food safety and sanitation practices, managing inventory and stock rotation, and supporting efficient service during peak hours. The role also involves collaborating with management on menu execution, identifying process improvements, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
QualificationsStrong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance feedback.
Proficiency in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to follow and execute standardized recipes.
Solid food service and culinary skills, including plating, portion control, and maintaining consistent quality.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and compliance with health regulations.
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant environment, ideally in a supervisory or lead role.
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, stand for extended periods, and lift moderate weights as needed.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on creating a respectful, inclusive team culture.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
