Job Description

GENERAL Position Overview The Dietary Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and snack bar in the Dietary department including meal planning, preparation, inventory control and regulatory compliance. This is a working supervisor position that supervises staff, supports scheduling, hiring, and performance management. Ensures food service operations are safe, efficient, and meet quality standards for patients, staff, and visitors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education High School graduate or equivalent required; Associate of Arts Degree in Food Management, Dietetics, or related field preferred. Experience Two or more years of experience in quantity food preparation; previous supervisory experience in a food service setting preferred; previous experience in hospital food service preferred. Knowledge Of Laws and regulations governing Food Service preparation. Licensure/Certification OTHERS Personality / Interpersonal Skills Appreciation of and the desire to be part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care. Employment Type Fulltime
