In this energetic role, you will lead a hospitality team, oversee food service activities, and ensure that every shift runs seamlessly. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. Lead and motivate team members through effective staff training, coaching, and performance management. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to maintain high standards of safety and quality. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Control inventory levels, monitor food production, and assist with ordering supplies to minimize waste and maximize profitability. Enforce food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and compliance with health regulations. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a welcoming dining experience for all guests. Assist in shift management tasks including scheduling, labor cost control, and profit & loss analysis. Support kitchen management activities such as food production oversight, catering coordination, and banquet service when needed. Participate in interviewing potential team members and contribute to staff training & development initiatives. Experience Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety management. Previous supervisory or assistant manager roles within the restaurant or hospitality industry demonstrating team leadership skills. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Experience managing inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis is preferred. Strong knowledge of food industry standards including catering, banquet service, bar operations, and casual dining is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and manage hospitality teams confidently. Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a high level of customer service excellence. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in food handling, safety procedures, and team supervision.
