Your goals and objectives include:
Responsible for managing and coordinating all activities of the Food Service Department and the Dietitians, including providing nutritious and appealing meals for patients and facility staff while maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. Overseeing supply inventory and purchasing, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies, and leading an efficient food service team. Approves hospital menus, including modified diets, conducts nutritional assessments, and offers counseling to patients and their families regarding dietary plans and nutritional principles. Master's degreeREQUIRED
(effective 2020) Utah Registered Dietitian (RD) licenseREQUIRED
Food Safety Manager certification Three (3)- (5) years experience in a hospital dietary/food services setting preferred. Knowledge of The Joint Commission (JCAHO) Standards, Utah Department of Health, alongside Utah's specific dietary regulations to ensure all nutritional services meet or exceed quality, safety, and compliance requirements EEO Statement
